Corinne Godbout is a Councillor-at-large with the City of Dieppe and was appointed a member of the Codiac Regional Policing Authority (CRPA) in 2022.
Ms. Godbout has worked for the Department of Justice Canada since 2005 and became Senior Counsel there in 2018.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Université de Moncton (with a major in Finance), as well as a Bachelor of Laws degree from the same institution. She was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1998.
Known for her community involvement, Ms. Godbout was a member of the City of Dieppe’s Planning Advisory Committee and at one point became its Chair. She has also sat on many parent school support committees, in addition to serving on the Université de Moncton Board of Governors.
Ms. Godbout volunteers with the Unité pastorale Marie-Reine de l’Acadie and has also participated in the Mouvement des caisses populaires acadiennes and the former Advisory Council on the Status of Women.
